Queens Comic Con, 10/8/11

Queens Con: The first ever Queens Library Comics Convention! Where: Steinway Library 21-45 31st St. (31st Street, near Ditmars Blvd.) Take the N or Q to Ditmars Blvd.

Events will include: local Authors, grading and collecting workshop, diversity in graphics, cosplay fashion show (with prizes), and a live auction of massive collection of comics including Silver and Bronze Age titles. Test drive your costume, get some valuable titles at a great price, and prep for the big con the following week.

I'll be speaking on the Local Authors panel at 11 AM, and most likely sticking around afterwards to do some drawing demos and hang out with people. Books will not be for sale, although there will be some giveaways and prizes. Feel free to bring books you'd like me to sign!
